Privacy Policy

Cascadia is a distributed LLM inference runtime built by Community Labs. This policy covers the marketing website you are reading now. It does not cover the Cascadia software itself, which runs on hardware you own and, by design, keeps prompts, model weights, and generated tokens on your own machines. When you run Cascadia, your inference data never reaches us.

We keep data collection on this website deliberately minimal. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Information you provide

You can browse this site without giving us any personal information. You choose to share information when you contact us or request a demo:

• Demo and pilot requests. When you book a demo, you are directed to our scheduling provider, Calendly, where you provide details such as your name, email address, and any message you include. That information is used to schedule and prepare for the meeting.
• Direct correspondence. If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything else you choose to include.

Information collected automatically

If, and only if, you accept analytics cookies, our analytics provider collects standard usage information such as the pages you view, referring links, approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and general interaction events. This helps us understand which content is useful. Until you accept, no analytics cookies are set and this information is not collected.

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We group cookies into four categories: strictly necessary, functional, analytics, and marketing. We run everything except strictly necessary cookies through Google Consent Mode, so they are denied by default and nothing is placed until you opt in. You choose which categories to allow in the consent banner or the preferences panel; today the only non-essential cookies we set are Google Analytics 4.

We use the information described above to:

• respond to your inquiries and schedule and conduct demos or pilots;
• understand how visitors use the site so we can improve its content and performance;
• maintain the security and reliability of the site and protect against fraud or abuse; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Where required by law, we rely on your consent to use analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interest in operating and improving our business for correspondence and site security. You may withdraw consent at any time.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

• Service providers. We use vendors that process information on our behalf, including Google (analytics), Calendly (demo scheduling), and Vercel (website hosting). They may process information only to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Community Labs, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

This site links to and integrates with third-party services, including Calendly (for scheduling), GitHub (for our source repository), and our live demo application. When you follow those links or submit information through them, the third party’s own privacy policy governs that information. We encourage you to review their policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of services we do not operate.

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Correspondence and demo records are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to manage our relationship with you and to meet legal or accounting requirements. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration and is stored in aggregate or pseudonymous form.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We are based in the United States, and the service providers we use may process information in the United States and other countries. If you access the site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country whose data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information: to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent you have given. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom

You have the rights described above under applicable data protection law. Our lawful bases are consent (for analytics cookies) and legitimate interests (for correspondence and site operation and security). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request access to or deletion of it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. You may exercise these rights using the contact details below, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

This site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made conspicuous. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
